Where'd you get the flour?


This morning for breakfast, Linh made me "Honey-seared Banana in buttered Toast topped with poached Egg sprinkled with sea salt and cinnamon". It was spectacular. I have always been delighted by the combination of honey, banana and cinnamon (not to mention a whole lot of butter to make the bread crunchy and buttery).


It was eaten 2 ways: divide the first layer which was banana and bread from the second one which was egg and bread and eat it separately. The banana bread really brings up the flavors with its irresistible textures of a summer morning - warm, crisp, and orange-y. I could not imagine a better dish to start the day. The egg was perfectly poached. I literally went crazy when I "killed" the egg with my fork which made the egg yolk run.


"Yummy yummy. Give me some more" I said to her.

"That is enough nutrition for the day" she replied


I have to say she has never disappointed me in any dish she has made. I look forward to her next dish as I am hungry for more.
